New agent for Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea and the surrounding area
The board of directors at House Fox are delighted to welcome Tim Candow as our newly appointed Regional Partner. He takes on responsibility for Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea, Backwell and the surrounding area.
Tim is a very successful estate agent who has won many sales awards and accolades since starting his career in 1989. He has also been responsible for managing successful estate agency offices in Portishead, Nailsea, Bristol, and North Somerset.
Estate agency has changed over the last ten years. 90% of buyers now prefer to use the internet for their property search. Accurate information is key to selling in this new age, and Tim prides himself on his attention to detail. Writing meticulous descriptions, making detailed floorplans, and taking precise photographs portray properties in the best possible light.
In addition, House Fox incorporates traditional estate agency service. And our use of up-to-date technology, coupled with social media, plays a huge part in maximising exposure for every property on our books.
Outside the office Tim is a devoted family man who has his feet firmly on the ground thanks to his long-suffering and patient wife Joe.
Tim and Joe have lived in Portishead for over 40 years and have three children and a four month old grandson.
Tim says, “every effective estate agent needs a patient wife – it is the key to a successful partnership. Especially as estate agents are not known for their timekeeping!
“When you work a 75 hour week you become accustomed to the phrase ‘there are not enough hours in the day’! As a matter of fact, even my eight year old son knows that when I say I will be home at 6.30 for tea, it usually means nearer 8pm.
“My wife is worth her weight in diamonds and is also part of the House Fox team.”
